We invite you to attend a few Sunday services and to review some of our literature -- see what we are about. And don’t worry, no one will call you. Proselytizing is not our thing. We believe you will be impressed by what you see and hear. Our philosophies and our actions speak best for us.

Sunday services begin at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary of our National Historic Landmark church at 4 Archdale Street in Charleston. Forums begin at 10 a.m. in Gage Hall next door to the church. Sanctuary Tours available on Friday and Saturday, 10 am to 1 PM.

Dress is casual. The typical service includes a sermon, songs relevant to the sermon, a period of silent reflection and an opportunity for people to express the joys and concerns in their lives. After the service, which lasts about an hour, all are invited next door to Gage Hall for coffee and conversation.

The sermon you hear on any given Sunday is but a snapshot of our complex church community, just one thread in a tapestry woven from our diverse backgrounds and beliefs. You can pick up reprints of previous sermons at the information table just inside Gage Hall at coffee hour. There you will find other information about Unitarian Universalism and a friendly person or two who will try to answer any questions you might have.

To better accommodate all our members and visitors we have several parking spots directly across the street in the Charleston Day School lot for the elderly/handicapped. We have a ramp for wheelchair access into the sanctuary and FM listening devices are available from our ushers. Large print copies of the bulletin are also available.
