The primary Social Justice activity of the Music Committee is the Candlelight Concerts which raises money for elementary and middle school music programs. Coffeehouse Concert Series

Since 2003, the church coffeehouse concerts have raised approximately $40,000 to support the Charleston schools. The focus has been on academic enrichment activities, including after school programs.  Currently, funds support enhancement of math and science programs at Mitchell Elementary School. Martha Welch Scholarship
