Located in Highlands, NC, nestled atop a 4200 ft. granite cliff,  the Mountain has been a favorite getaway spot for our church members and friends for decades. The Mountain offers a variety of programming from individual retreats to larger conferences, capable of accommodating groups of up to 100. Comfortable lodge and cabin housing have breathtaking views of the Blue Valley and are accessible to many. Guests enjoy 3 meals a day and are provided  a variety of culinary treats for all types of eaters.  A supportive staff is always on hand to get the most out of your trip.
Our youth frequent the Mountain the most, attending the Youth Conferences twice a year in the spring and fall. The 5.5 hour trek is well worth the fellowship and magical beauty of this special place.
Set  in the ecologically diverse Nantahala National Forest, many enjoy hikes to nearby Chinqapin and Scaly Mountains or the waterfalls at Glen Falls. Some prefer to stay on Little Scaly Mountain and walk the Labrynth or stroll the to the pond or open field. You can take in the views of the Blue Valley Mountains from the top of the Treehouse or enjoy some quiet time on Meditation Rock. Others enjoy a short ride in to the Highlands downtown area and enjoy restaurants and shops. Whatever your preference, the Mountain has a little something for everyone.
