The UU Green Sanctuary committee offers another of the popular Northwest Earth Institute (NWEI) discussion classes this Spring. Powering a Bright Future is a three-session course exploring issues related to energy use, and what we can do to take action as individuals and communities interested in promoting energy sustainability. This course contains solution-based content encouraging discourse on energy production and extraction, peak oil, fossil fuel subsidies, energy efficiency, equity, energy policy and environmental impacts. The class meeting dates are March 11, 18 and 25, from 12:30 to 2 pm, in the Charleston Day School.
You do not have to attend all three sessions.

Please contact Nina Fair (, 843.345.4930) or Laura Moses (, 843.364.1976) to reserve your spot and receive the readings for the class.
