Gage Hall Coffeehouse Concerts generally occur on the third Saturday of the month, during the months of September, October, November, January, February, March, April and May. The starting time is usually starting at 7:30 p.m.
The concerts feature a diverse mix of local and regional artists performing folk, contemporary, jazz, blues and world music. Described as “the best listening room in Charleston,” Gage Hall is a favorite venue for local performers. It has been a popular series with musicians and audiences for more than a decade.
Coffee, sodas and home-baked desserts are always available for purchase. Guests are welcome to bring their own bottles of wine.
Since 2003, these Coffeehouse Concerts have raised approximately $40,000 to support Charleston-area school children. Currently, the profits support the enhancement of math and science programs at Mitchell Elementary School in downtown Charleston, SC.
